Plush Production was founded in 2020 by Lisa Brown, an award-winning author, producer, and entrepreneur whose passion for storytelling was born from one of the most difficult chapters of her life. In 2017, Lisa survived a life-threatening act of domestic violence after her ex-husband orchestrated a shooting that left her with three gunshot wounds. Rather than allowing tragedy to define her, she made a life-changing decision to transform her pain into purpose. She committed herself to using her voice and her story to inspire, empower, and educate women around the world, proving that even life’s darkest moments can become the foundation for a greater purpose.

One year later, Lisa published her first novel, He Played Me, based on her true-life story. The book became a best-selling novel and marked the beginning of her journey as a storyteller. Today, that journey has expanded into film and television, where she continues creating impactful stories that resonate with audiences around the world.
